Autism Dolphin therapy
Hi All,
I just thought I would let you know that the Atlantis now is hosting the Dubai Autism Center where Autisic children are getting therapy with Dolphins.

Since we do not deal with any facilities that have a special needs program, I do not know the results from these dolphin programs. I hear great things but have not heard from any parents that children participated.
Do you know of any reports of this type of therapy? Would you go as far as Dubai to get this type of therapy?
God Bless,
John

Hi Grayce,
If you live in the United States, you should consider contacting Island Dolphin Care, they are next to the Swim with the Dolphins Key Largo program too. You can check out their website by going to http://www.islanddolphincare.org. I hope this helps you and your daughter.

Grayce,
You can also check http://www.rdtci.com. They offer Dolphin Assisted Therapy in the Cayman Islands. They also offer scholarships for a child and one parent to go to therapy for FREE….
All the Best,
Sarah

I am a behavioral therapist in the US. I am looking to move to your area and I was wondering if they need Hellers or aides that will work with the children outside of the water. Perhaps to implement a camp? Please let me know. Thank you!

Hi Vanessa,
Which area are you moving to? Dolphin World is the booking company for the swimming with the dolphins program but we don’t handle any of the therapy. I might be able to help you find a place to contact once I know which area you are moving to.
God Bless,
John
