We have reported before about the elusive pink dolphin that live in South America. ABC news did a video piece on the Pick Dolphin in Bolivia.  They live in the Amazon River. You need to see this video.

When bringing people to swim with the dolphins, the biggest thing people talk about is what a dolphin feel like.  Many say the dolphin skin feels like rubber, some say it feels like a hard boiled egg, and some say it feels like wet leather.

I am curious what you thought the skin would feel like before you entered the water with the dolphins and what it actually felt like to you?

The original painting by the famous Marine Animal Artist Wyland was stolen the other day in Hawaii. The painting Dolphin Dawn worth about $700,000 was taken from a Wyland art gallery.

The news story starts…
It’s like something out of a movie. Thieves rip off an original painting valued at nearly $700,000 from a gallery in Waikiki.

As you can see, it has some dolphin swimming and marine life in it. It is a beautiful piece of art work and Wyland and his company is asking for the painting to be brought back. There is a reward for information on the return of the painting.

When I came back from Oahu Hawaii and was blessed with snorkeling and swimming around with Spinner Dolphins off the western coast, it was an experience that I will never forget. Especially their unique behavior of jumping out of the water.  This is a sight you need to see. We have an youtube video of our experience.  SEE VIDEO

I know you can see Spinner Dolphins in many tropical locations but Hawaii is a great place to see them. I did both, the dolphin swim in Oahu Hawaii, and the wild dolphin trip, both are great!!

I only visited Oahu and it was beautiful. Can someone out there add some input about Hawaii and the spinner dolphins?

I saw this News Release about this young artist, 13 year old, Guy Snell, who did a marine life mural on the side of a local business in Key Largo.  His mentor is Wyland, a world famous Marine Life artist.

You need to read this story of how the two became friends and now the 13 year old is off and running with his own Marine Life art business.
