Spinner Dolphins
Hi All,
When I came back from Oahu Hawaii and was blessed with snorkeling and swimming around with Spinner Dolphins off the western coast, it was an experience that I will never forget. Especially their unique behavior of jumping out of the water. This is a sight you need to see. We have an youtube video of our experience. SEE VIDEO

I know you can see Spinner Dolphins in many tropical locations but Hawaii is a great place to see them. I did both, the dolphin swim in Oahu Hawaii, and the wild dolphin trip, both are great!!
I only visited Oahu and it was beautiful. Can someone out there add some input about Hawaii and the spinner dolphins?

HI John, im leilani I am on the North side of Oahu. Sunset beach. Waimea, Pipeline. Ive been a dolphin swimmer for 7 years now… they have changed my life =0) I swim from shore, and delight in the joy of the spinner !

Nice hearing from you. How do you interact with the spinner dolphins there Oahu? Do you surf ? Or Just see them from the shore or a boat? I would guess you would be considered a local now, being in Oahu for 7 years. I was also curious how the locals on Oahu thought about the spinner dolphins?

HI! John sorry i didnt think to check back for a reply! I am a local gal born and raised .. I swim from shore both on the North and west sides of the island of Oahu. those of us who do swim from shore have GOT to watch for the boats that now chase the dolphins. Its funny John some locals here have never seen a wild dolphin. Dolphins swim where they want… i spend LOTS of time on shore waiting and in the water treading water!! LOL its way worth it! =0) aftter 4 years of sw3immi9n amoung the dolphins i piked up a camera ..I share those pics with local who have never seen a wild dolphin. =0)
