While most are under the impression that the dolphin swim is the main lure for our programs, you may be surprised but you get other activities which includes a Dolphin show and other marine animal shows. Many customers tell us that the shows get them ready and excited for their swim with the dolphin program. This article sheds a little light on the glamor and exquisite art of the dolphin show. The dolphin shows of the Miami, Florida Keys, Orlando and Oahu Hawaii locations all have one thing in common, and that is a dolphin show packed with unparalleled levels of skill, performance, ingenuity and perfection, by the dolphins in the attempt to mystify and satisfy the insatiable marine animal lover audience.
Dolphin Shows Florida and Hawaii
With flying high speed acrobatics and dare devil maneuvers, these dolphin shows enlighten us on what the cornerstone of dolphin popularity is based on. These dolphin shows in many cases put forth the most effort for the dolphins in entertaining its guests. Whether it be dolphins jumping through the air in perfect synchronicity, sea lions balancing Beach balls on their noses, or whales literally jumping high into the air, with the specific intent to create a deluge of water in your trousers. Whatever the act, you can be sure that these shows are nothing short of magnificent, and have been continually perfected even up to this day.
Id love for you to let me know what you think of the shows if you have seen of them?
And let us know the next time you plan to swim with dolphins, you will keep a special eye out for that extraordinary dolphin show activity.
The swim with dolphins activity is a cherished and coveted activity among many vacationers coming to South Florida. But one obstacle that many vacationers have to overcome is the hassle of driving, that coupled with directions and traffic, can sometimes make the experience loose its luster and shine. Don’t stress over it, because we have just the solution, our convenient and effective van service will be there to pick you up on your dolphin swim day, which ensures the only thing you need to worry about is how cute those dolphins will be when you get there. Our Dolphin Tours Miami has several locations in Florida for the pick up service, such as Miami & Miami Beaches, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and the Naples & Marco Island area.
Here is a video that shows a couple of friends that had fun with their dolphin swim while being chauffeured around in style by our deluxe van service.
This video is one of my favorites because the guests in the video had so much fun this day and I think that shows in the the video. Few of the positives of our Miami tour services is that we take away that element of stress and anxiety or the ability in navigating successfully through downtown Miami traffic. Plus as a complimentary service we offer free snacks and beverages along the way to keep you relaxed and refreshed every step of the way.
We also offer discounts for booking early. If you book our van service activities in Miami 30 days or more in advance you will receive a free t- shirt or free video or you may choose to have a $10.00 discount off per participant. With these great deals and a superb package, and an exhilarating day with the dolphins, its hard to pass up this opportunity. < See More >
We would love to hear what you guys think of our tour?
Did you like the video? Do you think you would do a Miami dolphin swim in the near future? If you do, would you use our van service for pick up?
Looking forward to your responses,
God Bless,
Tarek
Ok guys, so i came across this really interesting post the other day and i just had to share it with you. Its about Dolphins that are instinctively learning how to “walk on water” According to the article “when a dolphin beats its tail fluke repeatedly it lifts its body vertically out of the water and then along the surface, it is more commonly seen among captive dolphins trained to perform tricks”.
Whats interesting about this is the fact that these dolphins in Australia are expanding their culture, they are literally showing their young and other dolphins how to perform the technique and the dolphins are learning it at an exponential rate.
But wait, that’s not the shocking part, get this; according to scientific research, the dolphins learn this not for any practical purpose, but for entertaining themselves. Its the equivalent of us dancing or singing, its not because we have to, its because we enjoy doing it. This is an extraordinarily rare talent in a species other than human, and denotes vastly superior intellect, even more so than previously expected.
I have to ask, do you guys believe these dolphins are actually doing this for fun, entertaining themselves? Just for recreation? If so what other parts of their culture do you think we have missed? Could they perhaps be much smarter than we ever estimated?
Let me know what you think, Hope to hear from you soon
Hey guys, I’m so excited to tell you about this article i wrote, comparing and contrasting dolphins, whales and porpoises. i have to admit that it is quite thorough and informative, and really gives you specific understanding on what the differences between these creatures are. and more importantly how you can spot them.
The inspiration for this article actually came from this simple you-tube video.
What i was thinking was, how could one tell the differences if they saw these species? How would you know one from the other? Obviously between an Ocra and a dolphin, the size is the answer, but what about porpoises? Can anyone tell by just looking, do most people even know that an Ocra (Killer Whale) is apart of the dolphin family? These and other questions i wanted answered and was my inspiration to write about it.
The article explains the unique and subtle differences between these mammals. Their physical traits, personality traits, even mating habits and their life expectancy, each and every detail to give readers the information to be prepared if they were ever to see a dolphin, Ocra or porpoise in the wild, to ultimately know what they saw, without uncertainty.
I really hope you read my article, I’m looking forward to you feedback and comments, tell me if you have ever seen one of these creatures in the wild or if you have ever gone swimming with the dolphins and could tell what type of dolphin you were swimming with. This is the true purpose of my article, for it to be applied to in real life and make a difference in informing people of these absolutely astounding and amazing creatures.
I just saw this video, and I’m not sure whether to laugh or be in shock. This is some crazy stuff. Basically showing 2 full sized dolphins jumping in the wake of a boat but then accidentally colliding into each other . I feel bad for the dolphins and more shocked that they were able to catch that on video.
You have to take a look at this
I couldn’t believe it either, until the 5th time i watched it. They may be the most intelligent sea creatures but like us they do have their awkward moments. Just goes to show that dolphin swimming is not as easy as it looks.
You may have heard of Winter the Dolphin. I have blogged about her in the past, mostly in 2008. She is the dolphin that lost her tail with an accident and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium rescued her and put on a fake tail to help Winter swim better.
A few things, there was a fund raiser for the aquarium where the famous marine artist, Guy Harvey, painted a portrait and Winter helped paint too. It was very cute.
Also, Winter is going to be a big movie star now. There is a major motion picture in the works called a ” Dolphin Tale ” about Winter, Directed by Charles Martin Smith. Starring Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Harry Connick Jr. The same folks that made the Blind Side and the Book of Eli are going to make this movie. If this movie is anything like the other 2, then it should be really good. I look forward to it.
Does anyone out there have any thoughts about Winter?
God Bless,
John
You would love this story about a basketball pro, Clifford Ray, that saved a dolphin. You need to read this story from the web…
The store reads.
Assuming Mr. Spock, the Dolphin, had swallowed this screw, they took him to the local hospital for an x-ray. But doctors couldn’t do surgery and could not get the screw. Frustrated, a doctor said if only his arms were nine inches longer, he could reach down the dolphin’s throat and pull it out.
Someone then remembered that Clifford Ray’s arms were three-feet, nine-inches long, so they reached out to Ray, then playing with the Golden State Warriors. < Read More How He saved the Dolphin >
Would you do the same for the Dolphin?

Winter the dolphin today, has signed a movie deal, well not Winter, but the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and David Yates, Winter’s handler, signed the deal.
Winter story is very inspirational and I have blogged about Winter before. On our old blog we wrote 5 – 6 post about Winter’s plight, from finding Winter, looking for a prosthetic tail, and Winter finding a prosthetic tail. There were a lot of stories on the news about how Winter inspired human amputees, including our wounded soldiers coming back from the Middle East. So I can understand how Hollywood would want to tell this story. Hopefully they won’t ruin it.
To read the details of the movie deal, < Read Story >
Do you think “Winter the Dolphin” story is worthy of a movie deal? It looks like the the movie company is going to change the story of Winter, boy finds dolphin, boy gets winter prosthetic tail, and some sort of happy ending. How would you write Winter’s story?
God Bless,
John
Cruise Season is almost here and the question we always hear is “how far is the cruise port of Georgetown to the Swim with Dolphin Grand Cayman facility?” Well, here is a google map to show you how close the facility is, only 8 miles. This will be about a $24 US dollar taxi ride. They will take US dollars or Cayman dollars.
Grand Cayman is one of our more popular dolphin programs we offer. Has anyone been to Grand Cayman? What did you think about the Island? Any travel advice you might have?
God Bless,
John
