“Thank you for a fantastic day. The dolphin swim was lovely. My family all enjoyed it. What we liked was that the dolphins were not forced to do any thing they did not want to. One of the dolphins would not do what he was told so they left him and asked another who was very happy to oblige! The Stingrays and sharks meeting was a bonus as we never realised u done this when u done the natyral swim. We had a kiss and a stroke but was not the normal climbing on the dolphin doing the push etc. We knew this thats why we booked it so we could see them being happy. My girls 11 and 14 loved it too. Great day for all the family. We are already looking at doing it again.”

You may want more details about the Natural Dolphin Swim in Punta Cana, well here is a good video by a former customer. It does give good detail what to expect but not the best quality. They did do a fairly good job of editing the video.

You can see that the Natural Swim in Punta Cana is a little different than most of the dolphin programs we offer. But it is great dolphin program for the area, you get a boat ride out to the private man made island and get to spend about 30 minutes in the water with the dolphins. Check out the video.

You may be going to Punta Cana Dominican Republic which is a popular vacation spot right now in the Caribbean.  We offer 2 different types of Swimming with the Dolphins in Dominican Republic, the Natural Dolphin Swim and the Trained Dolphin Swim.

In Punta Cana is only the Natural Dolphin Swim, which is where you get to free swim with the dolphin, where you can swim and snorkel with the dolphins. This program is amazing because it is totally natural, just like you would swim with them in the open ocean.

In Puerto Plata, you can get the trained dolphin swim, where you get the dorsal fin ride, the peck ride, and the famous toe push. A lot of people call the toe push “the superman ride” and these behaviors are a lot of fun.

If you are in Punta Cana and want the Trained Dolphin Swim, you will need to take the Punta Cana Dolphin Swim Bus Tour where you get picked up with a comfortable bus from any of these Cities, Bavaro, Punta Cana, Bayahibe, La Romana, and Santo Domingo and brought to Puerto Plata.

Punta Cana is so beautiful, the water, beaches and people. This place is growing by leaps and bounds. It is wild to see how fast Punta Cana as a vacation destination has taken off. I guess because of the modern airport that is close by all the resorts and the reasonably priced all inclusive resorts help. But of coarse the activities are amazing here too, from the natural dolphin swim in Punta Cana, to snorkeling the reefs, horseback riding on the beach, fun boat rides in the ocean, and watersports galore. The word has spread and this has become a HOT destination.

Snorkeling or Free-Diving, which many call it, is a great water sport to get used to. It seems easy and it is once you get used to the mask and snorkel in your mouth. Once you get past that hurdle of not swallowing water all the time, you need to try holding your breath and free dive down under the water. The world record is about 300 feet under the water, pretty amazing. You will appreciate this record once you try free diving under the water only a few feet, not that easy. I have seen people free dive up to 60 feet. I still still struggle to 20 .

Here in Punta Cana you can snorkel in the Ocean and you can snorkel with the dolphins with the Natural Swim. So the better you are are with the equipment, the better time you will have. If you can, buy a mask and snorkel at your local dive shop and you can practice at your local pool, lake or ocean. You will be ready for this vacation!!
