Many guests contact us about whether they can pre-book a dolphin experience shore excursion on their own without booking through the cruise line?

The simple answer is ” YES “. The cruise line would prefer that you would book ALL shore excursions with them. If you call the cruise line about shore excursions, they will do try their best to make you, as a cruise customer, nervous to reserve any activities on your own because they make a lot of revenue from the shore excursions.

Here are some things to consider if you make your dolphin reservation on your own.

• If you book directly with us, you will be saving money.
• If you book early, 30 – 60 days, you will get a substantial discount, 10 – 15 % off if you book online and save even more money.
• The savings will help pay for your Taxi or Ground Transportation to the Dolphin Facility and have some extra money in your pocket.

Here are easy instructions to Book Online for Tortola, St Thomas, St Johns, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.

When you get to the final payment check out page of our reservation online system, you need to follow these steps….

1. Keep the Radio Button on Hotel >> Don’t click on Cruise Ship.
2. Put the name of the Cruise Ship you are coming from
3. Continue to the end of the form.
4. Click the Orange Book Button and you will get an email with a confirmation for you to print out and bring with you.

Hi All,

Many of your are looking for the swimming with the dolphins St Thomas USVI and we have had it for many years.  The only thing, you need to take a ferry from St Thomas to Tortola BVI.

Here is video of your ride.  The ride is beautiful!!

Remember,  if you sign up for the swimming with the dolphins Tortola, you need to have a Passport. I know that is a bummer for many people, but I think more and more of you are getting your passports.

Anyone out there done the ferry from St Thomas to BVI? Any comments about it?

You may be heading to St John, USVI, for a vacation. Now, you can enjoy the swim with the dolphin Tortola program too. We have a complete package which includes the Dolphin Program and the Ferry Ride from Cruz Bay.

St John is the closest US Virgin Island to Tortola. So it will be an easy ferry ride from here. The only thing you need to remember is to bring a passport to gain entrance to Tortola, which is a British Virgin Island.

When I traveled to Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, I was amazed by its mountainous geography, beaches and the variety of activities available to do because I went there to have a relaxing quiet time with my family at the beach. My favorite activity that I enjoyed was swimming with the dolphins in Tortola and I recommend it as a great family bonding experience or just a great enjoyable way for anybody to experience the fun and beauty of dolphins. Tortola is the largest and most populated of the British Virgin Islands, a group of islands which form part of the archipelago of the Virgin Islands. Local belief is that the name was originally given to the island by Christopher Columbus, meaning “land of the turtle dove”. In actuality, Columbus named the Island Santa Ana. When the British moved in after the Dutch, they altered the name to is present day form of Tortola. Tortola is a mountainous island, 13.5 miles long and 3 miles wide. It is formed by volcanic activity and lies near an earthquake fault, and minor earthquakes are common. The temperatures are normally very warm throughout the year so it’s a great place to visit for a tropical and sunny location. Tortola is a beautiful island in the British Virgin Island chain. These islands are really mountainous and surrounded by aqua green water.  The swim with the dolphin in Tortola is an amazing activity here.  Here is a map how to get to the facility from Road Town Harbor.  Also, there is a ferry service from St Thomas, US Virgin Islands. The ferry leaves from Charlotte Amalie Terminal, St Thomas and goes to the Tortola Road Town Terminal. This ferry leaves at 8:30am, everyday from St Thomas.
