This article I found online is very informative about The Protect Wild Dolphins (PWD) specialty license plate program in Florida and how the program has just awarded $302,000 in grant money to programs that research and help dolphins.

Is anyone out there involved or work with the following groups that is mention in the article, Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Florida State University, The DolphinSMART, Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution? If you do, can you reply back with some feed back on what research you are presently doing with dolphins?

Also, all the Florida residence out there, how many have the Protect Wild Dolphins specialty license plate?

This story is fun for me since I grew up on the New Jersey shore and really love those beaches, Long Beach Island and Wildwood. This story is about a Rutgers University graduate student, Jackie Toth Brown, who logged hundreds of hours – and nautical miles – tracking 309 dolphins up and down New Jersey’s coast.
