Dolphin Watch, Just Swinging by the Boat

Hi all,

Just thought I would share this story I saw from Ann Weaver, she seems to write a lot of stories of Dolphin Research in the Wild. This story is about her collecting data of dolphins near Tampa, FL and one data-deserving behavior is called “just swinging by.” Dolphins swing by when they approach the boat, check us out the boat, the people on the boat and resume their activities.

Here is Ann’s story,

Has anyone else had this experience out there? One time I was in Key Biscayne, FL and a whole pod of Dolphins came around the boat and hung out with us for 20 minutes. It was amazing.
GB,
John
