Interested in a career working with dolphins

Hi All,

I just received this email about a career with dolphins.

My name is Maria Olah, I am a medical doctor from Hungary.  I am writing to you because I am interested in a career working with dolphins. Ever since childhood I have been fascinated with dolphins.  And, not along in Malta, I had the opportunity to swim with dolphins for the first time. The experience was magical and instantly I realized this is something I would love to do to all the time.  Then, upon my return to Hungary, I came across the story about a Hungarian family who took their mentally retarded son to Florida so he could swim with the dolphins there as a therapeutic attempt. The results were significant, his coordination and movements improved, as did his communication abilities.

The confluence of these events has roused me to seek out a future career in which I could work in a similar environment. Although I have read a great deal about dolphins, I would like to work with them and study them up close, and see how they interact with people with various ailments. I believe my medical and scientific background is a good foundation for such work. Moreover, I really enjoy helping people of need and, as I said, I am crazy about dolphins, as well as I am an adept swimmer, certified diver and love the water.

Therefore, I feel I am superbly suited for a job of this nature. If you have anything available along these lines or would like to begin, please consider me.

I enclosed my resume with the hope that you will contact me, as I am very excited about discussing any possibilities of being part of this type of program.

Sincerely,

                                                                       Maria Olah Dr.
Are there any Marine Mammal companies that have an internship or any job positions? Does anyone have any advice for Maria in order to find a job in this industry? There is one good website, http://www.dolphinplaces.com that does give good information for facilities for Maria to contact.
GB,
John
