A tail even a dolphin could love

Hi All,

I have writen before about Winter the dolphin. She lost her tail fluke due to her abandonment from her mother and getting caught in a crab net line. She was rescued and now on her way to recovery. A very a cool story. Well in the news the other day there is a post about her receiveing her prosthetic fluke to try on.

Here is an excerpt from the article:
The Clearwater Marine Aquarium unveiled a one-of-a-kind prosthetic fin Friday that could help the young dolphin Winter avoid developing a curvature of the spine which could put her in a permanent “bend” position. The female lost her own tail fluke in an accident in 2005.

[To Read More: Winter gets checked out by the developers of her prosthetic tail fluke, which might still be a year away.]

Winter the Dolphin

Let’s pray this tail works out and we will all see Winter swimming around her pool soon! :)
God Bless,
John
