Sanctuaries Planned to Protect Dolphins
Hi There,
I thought this was really cool where a country, New Zealand, went out of there way to protect Dolphins and other marine animals by making a protected area in the ocean. The Florida Keys has done something similar by having protected areas in the ocean where the Marine Life and the Coral are protected, like John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.
Here is the story, Marlborough New Zealand population of endangered Hector’s dolphins are among a few in New Zealand which may soon be living in waters free of dangerous set nets. Cloudy Bay and Cliffords Bay make up one of just four new proposed marine mammal sanctuaries to save the world’s smallest dolphins. [Read More]

I know many sportmen and fishermen are against the protected sanctuaries in the Ocean. What is your opinion on it? Is it good or bad? Is there a better way to protect Marine Life and Dolphins?
Have a great day!
God Bless,
John

Wow thats wonderful!! dolphins should be protected, fishermen have enough space to fish – they don’t need the whole world!!!

Thanks for the comment. Yes, it is great they are protecting the dolphins in the wild. I hope more countries do the same.
God Bless,
