Dolphin Swim in Hawaii, Oahu Island

Hi All,

It is very exciting because Dolphin World is now representing and selling Sea Life Park in Hawaii, Oahu Island. In this park you can Swim with the Dolphins, Dolphin Encounters, Sea Lion Encounter, Ray Encounter, and the Sea Trek program. Also the park offers educational and fun shows, Dolphin Show, Hawaiian Reef Ballet, Ocean Theater, Sea Lion Show, Sea Bird Trainer Talk, Sea Turtle Feeding, Penguin Habitat Talk, and one of the island’s best Hawaiian Luau.

In the Dolphin Programs, you have the choice of the Royal, Swim Adventure, and the Encounter. All of them are great, but have different types of encounters with the dolphins, the royal dolphin swim you get mostly deep water time with the dolphins. The Swim Adventure is both platform work and snorkeling with the dolphins, a little different then the dolphin swim. The Dolphin Encounter is only platform work with the dolphins. You can take as little as a 1 year old with the dolphin encounter.

Dolphin Encounter

The Sea Trek program is where you descend about 18 feet in the Hawaiian Reef Tank and walk between sting rays and marine turtles while you feed schools of tropical fish with your hands. You will be fitted with a special helmet during this interactive marine program. You do not need to be scuba certified for this program.

Finally, the Sea Life Luau could be a way to top off the your day with the dolphins and other marine life, a chance to enjoy this traditional Hawaiian celebration in the same location. This Luau at Sea Life Park provides food and drinks but also a one of a kind spectacular dolphin show which makes this a unique celebration.

Dolphins Fights Off Shark and Saves Surfer

Hi All,

This story was brought to my attention by one of my myspace friend’s. This story is pretty amazing, where a surfer gets saved from the jaws of a great white shark by a pod of bottlenose dolphins. This story is even more touching hearing the interview of the surfer, where he gives praise and thanks to God for these dolphins and how they protected him from the shark continued attack.

Dolphin Saves Surfer

The story starts with…..
Surfer Todd Endris needed a miracle. The shark — a monster great white that came out of nowhere — had hit him three times, peeling the skin off his back and mauling his right leg to the bone.

That’s when a pod of bottlenose dolphins intervened, forming a protective ring around Endris, allowing him to get to shore, where quick first aid provided by a friend saved his life…..<read more>

The Video Interview is part of the article. You will see the link at the top of the article. You have to see the interview. So make sure you click on it!!! <See Video, Click Here>

What did you think of this story?  What was the most amazing part of this story to you?

I hope to hear from you!
God Bless,
John

Swim with the Dolphins on the Show “The Bachelor”

Hi All,

Did you see the last episode of the ABC show “the Bachelor”? I did not see it and was told that the couple swam with the dolphins during the show. Well, if you did not see it either, here is a recap I found on the internet of the show where the Bachelor takes his date to Swim with the Dolphin. Here is an outline of the show…..

On the ABC show the Bachelor is comprised of Brad, the show’s bahelor, taking each of the women on a some unusual, dates to narrow down his choices from three to two. Will DeAnna, Bettina or Jenni go home? The previews show each of the women claiming she is either in love or falling in love with Brad. Who convinces him enough to receive a rose and meet his family next week? Let’s see…

The episode begins in Cabo San Lucas and Brad is waiting for Jenni. She’s the first date because she got the first impression rose. Jenni runs to meet him and they hug. Brad tells her they will be swimming with dolphins and she is at once scared. She tells us she doesn’t want to sound like a weenie, but she is scared of them. The two of them get into the pool with the dolphins and they are having a ball. I am so envious; the dolphins are playing and cavorting with them. When Jenni gets to dance with one of the dolphins, she is much more at ease.

Then the show, I guess, continues on with the couple and the rest of the day together. I am not sure how it turned out. Did anyone watch the show with the dolphins? What did you think of them together with the dolphins?

I look forward to your response.
God Bless,
John
