Feed Wild Dolphins – Should You Do it or Not?

Hi All,

Should you feed wild dolphins or any wild animals? Most times when I am out in nature, I see people feeding wild animals a lot, birds, racoons, fishes, dogs, and cats. So we are pretty conditioned as people to feed animals and not feeding them is really hard for people to do. If this is you, please read this article from NOAA about feeding wild Dolphins, especially if you live in Florida or the Carolina’s. Please read this….

“Just stop feeding me!” says an animated dolphin in a new public service announcement released today that highlights the dangers of dolphins getting hooked on human handouts. The PSA was produced by a coalition of government agencies and private organizations. < Read More>

Feeding Wild Dolphin

Do you feed wild dolphins and do you feed them? Do you think it is OK to feed Wild Dolphins, why? I would like to hear both sides to this issue.

Nadando con los Delfines en Miami

Hi All,

Things are really picking up around here. We were super slow for the months of October and November but with God’s grace the office is moving again. The phones are ringing and sales are starting to happen.

In Miami they are offering a Spanish speaking session on Saturday morning only, for our Latin guests that come to South Florida. Otherwise you need to have an English speaking interpreter in the water with you. As you may know already, Miami is a multi-cultural city, with a big emphasis on Spanish life. I really enjoy the Latin flavor of South Florida and it is good that we have a Swim with the Dolphins in Miami session for the them.

As they say, “Nadando con los Delfines en Miami”. I wish I could say it as well as they do. Anyway this is a video from our first non-English speaking group on a tour. They were from Colombia and we had a blast together

I had to watch the family’s little boy a little bit while the parents where switching from dolphin swim to the dolphin encounter program. You can see he an I had a fun time together. Did you see the little boy at the end of the video? He was so cute and fun to be with. Also the scene where I am interviewing the whole family, you will notice that the family is pointing to the little boy because he ran to my legs and grabbed me. I think I have a new friend. :)
Merry Christmas,
John

Discovery Cove – Swim with Dolphins in Orlando

Hi All,

I have just posted this article about Swimming with the Dolphins in Orlando, Discovery Cove. This place is truly beautiful and an attraction to visit if you can. In fact the other day, I saw the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders photographed their 2009 calendar at Discovery Cove.

The story starts…

Situated in the heart of Orlando, Discovery Cove is an exclusive, reservations-only, tropical retreat that offers extraordinary adventures through up-close encounters with exotic marine mammals, marine life and other animals. Just imagine, you can swim with the dolphins in middle of a huge city like Orlando. Also, you will be able to snorkel with coloful fish and rays, and-feed exotic birds and relax on printine, white sand beaches. Besides the beauty, you will be pampered the whole day too with personalized service and first class amenities.   < Discovery Cove Story, Click Here to Read More >

Discovery Cove and dolphin

It’s hard to believe but winter is on its way and tourist will be coming to Florida in truck loads again. At least that is what I am hoping for, but will have to wait till the Presidential elections are over. I am praying for the right guy and women to be elected, so our taxes won’t be raised which will effect us all in the tourist business.

Has anyone out there been to Discovery Cove? What is your opinion of the park?
God Bless,
John
